WE BELIEVE IN ONE GOD

That One God has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father in creation; the Son in redemption; and the Holy Spirit in regeneration. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, and always present. (Genesis 1:1; Colossians 2:14; Acts 2:38, 8:17, 10:44, 19:6; Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 9:6; 1 Timothy 3:16; John 14:17,18)

WE BELIEVE IN THE BIBLE

The Bible is God’s written Word to all people. Spanning thousands of years, it was written by multiple people who were supernaturally inspired by the Spirit of God. As a result of being inspired by God, there is no error or contradiction and it remains completely relevant to our daily lives. (II Timothy 3:16; Ephesians 3:5; II Peter 3:2)

WE BELIEVE IN THE GOSPEL

The Gospel of Jesus Christ or the “Good News” of Jesus Christ, is that Christ died for the sins of all mankind: past, present, and future; was buried in a borrowed tomb and was resurrected to life three days later conquering death and hell. By doing so, Jesus gave us the gift of salvation from the penalty of our sins if we believe on Him through faith and obey His gospel. (Romans 1:16, 17; Acts 2:37-39; Hebrews 5:12, 26; Ephesians 2:8; Romans 1:5; Romans 16:26; Acts 6:7)

WE BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF GOD'S NAME

The Name of God was fully revealed in the man Jesus Christ and is the “family name” we are given when we are born again into the family of God, replacing the old "family name” given to us through the spiritual ancestry of Adam. The Name of Jesus holds all power and authority and as believers, we are to do everything in that name.(Philippians 2:9-10; Matthew 7:22; Mark 16:7; John 14:14; Acts 4:12; Colossians 3:17; I Corinthians 1:12-15; Romans 6:4: II Corinthians 5:17; I Corinthians 15:45-50; Philippians 2:9-10; Matthew 7:22; Mark 16:7; John 14:14)

WE BELIEVE IN BEING BORN AGAIN

All of us are imperfect people. Our imperfection stems from our natural and spiritual ancestry to Adam and Eve as a result of their willingness to be deceived by Satan and disobedience to God, which brought sin into the world. Therefore, in order to break the curse of sin, we must be spiritually “born again”. By being “born again” we take on God’s name and become part of God’s family. We are given access to the promises of God. Being “born again” is both an act of faith and an act of obedience in which one is born again through water by baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ and through the Spirit by being filled with the Holy Spirit as the Apostles were. (John 3:3-8, Acts 2:1-4, 1 Peter 1:22-23)

WE BELIEVE IN THE CHURCH

The Church is a global community of born again believers made up of local assemblies of born-again believers unified through faith in Jesus Christ and his Gospel. It is committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ and all his commands and the spreading of his Gospel into all the world by working together in love and unity with the ultimate purpose of glorifying Jesus Christ. (Matthew 16:18-19; 18:15-20; Acts 2:41-47; 5:11-14; 13:1-3; 14:23; 16:5; 20:28; 1 Corinthians 7:17; 9:13-14; 12; Ephesians 1:22-23; 2:19-22; 3:10-12; 5:22-32; Colossians 1:18; 3:15; 1 Timothy 4:14; 1 Peter 5:1-4; Revelation 21:2-3)

WE BELIEVE IN BEING UNIQUE

As born-again believers, we are not called to blend in and be the same. We are called to be unique, to be different. When the rest of the world looks at us, we want them to see something different. We want them to see Jesus. As a result, we strive to be unique according to God’s Word, and distinguish ourselves from the rest of the world through our actions, our words, our appearances, our attitudes and our lifestyles. (Exodus 13:3; 2 Corinthians 6:16-18; Galatians 5:1, 13-16;1 Peter 1:13-16, 2:9-10)

WE BELIEVE IN ETERNITY

Mankind was created to exist forever, somewhere. Mankind will either exist eternally separated from God as a result of sin, or will live eternally in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell, and to be eternally in union with God is Heaven. Both are real places of eternal existence. (John 3:16, 36; Romans 6:23; 1 John 2:25; 5:11-13; Revelation 20:15)
